The Lead
Traffic is a subject matter of individual behavior concern activity, civic sense duty, need of the hour and social responsibility to pass a much better disciplined Traffic system to our next generations.
THE ROAD, is a passionate Hyderabad based NPO with a collective mind frame and spirited professionals from Medicine, Engineering, IT, Education, Public service, Students, Senior citizens, Entrepreneurs etc, and positions itself to volunteer services on road safety and pollution check and control activities.
THE ROAD, adapts a novel way to live up to their motto of service with an aim to build a disciplined traffic system in phases with conscious effort of every human of the society.
AIM
√ For an easy accessible, comfortable and a disciplined traffic system in the city.
√ Position multiple ways of programmes highlighting the importance of practice traffic.
√ Volunteers to participate to speak and practice for the cause.
√ Adapt and support services and initiatives to all HIV AIDS infected people and families.
Objectives
√ Enlightening the public role wise like as an individual of a family, as a professional, as a student, as a citizen etc, about why and how the traffic rules help in saving the human life and the need of understanding and practicing traffic rules.
√ Reduce the traffic rule violations cases at the first phase and move on to next levels of service.Also, what to do as a socially responsible individual.
√ Coordinating with city traffic police, Local Governing bodies, volunteers and other groups for greater support of the cause with novel solutions to the issues.
√ Organising traffic related education programs by Print-audio-visual aids and activities of drama, road shows and all venues of media will follow with booklets news letters and magazines.
√ Awareness programmes to improve good driving attitudes and culture.
√ Work to control the impact of Environmental, Sound and vehicle smoke pollution.
√ Volunteer services to clear discomforts and traffic blocks on roads.
√ To adopt and offer support services to the AIDS affected people and families.
